Founded in 1928 by Francisco Flotats Grifol, F.Flotats, s.a. was born as a small family-run company devoted to the manufacture of home textiles. In 1940, the company expanded its manufacturing activity with the creation of a warp knit fabric section dedicated to the manufacture of bodywear.

In 1954, the founder's son, Francisco Flotats Soler joined the company, and the plant took on a new dimension by opening its dyeing, finishing and printing sections. The company was consolidated as one of the few in the sector with a vertical manufacturing process making warp-knit fabrics for bodywear and home fabrics for curtains.

Today, with the participation of the third generation, f.flotats, s.a. has gone a step further, with the construccion of a new factory in Vacarisses, outfitted with the latest technology, where, f.flotats, s.a. manufacures elastic warping fabric for bodywear. The new plant features an elastic yarn warp-knitting section for the warp-knit fabric machines.

Here, the company also has an excellent in-house design department, ensuring our collections a personality all their own.

All of this growth is the result of the company's group efforts, specially aided by the internationalisation of its fabrics, the work done in quality-capped with the attainment of the ISO 9001 certification-and environmental concern throughout all manufacturing processes, culminating in certification with the european.
